David Ambrose is interested in finding out if any of our members would be interested in a Cruisers Club at the Post. If you have a classic, muscle or unique vehicle and are interested, please contact David Ambrose at 252-312-6870.​
The old Restore is now the Chowan Veterans Thrift Store (CVETS)
It will be staffed with the same great volunteers from the old Restore plus the addition of new ones.
The new CVETS will continue to support our community just as had been done in the past.
Memorial Bricks​​
Memorial Bricks for placement at the Veterans Memorial on Memorial Day,
May 25th, 2026, during Memorial Day Service. Please get applications from Fred Morrow (732) 239-380.
Deadline for applications to receive bricks for Memorial Day placement is February 15th, 2026.
The Club Room
Hours: Monday thru Friday 2:30-7:00pm
EFFECTIVE MARCH 8th (daylight savings time) the Club Room Hours will be 3:00pm to 7:30pm due to requests to stay open later.
If there are less than 3 patrons, the Bartender has the option to close down. Similarly if there is a crowd the bartender can stay later than the 7:30 close time.
St. Patrick Day Day Dinner
St. Patrick's Day Dinner in The CR on Tuesday, March 17th 4:30 to 7:00pm Eat in or Take out. $15.00 pp donation. Options: Corned Beef w/ cabbage potatoes and carrots or Ham with Cabbage. Dessert will also be available. Signup in the CR max number 30,

Portraits for Post 40's Honor Wall​
Members of Post 40 are reorganizing and straightening up the honor wall of local veterans photographs. If you wish to have your photo included please contact E.C. Toppin (252-482-4057) to give your photo to be copied and resized for the wall. Your original will be returned to you. Open to all Chowan county veterans, so let every veteran you know about it.
