American Legion National Commander Dan K. Wiley will be coming to Post 40 on January 3rd 2026.  Details are still being worked but as of right now we are planning for his arrival at 6:00pm.  Post 40 will be providing a light dinner and refreshments.  All members of the Post 40 family as well as the family members of the Posts of District 1 are invited to this event.  The Post 40 Commander is in continuous liaison with the NC Dept American Legion Adjutant, Mark Cauble and will continue providing updates to everyone.  Lastly, we will be needing volunteers for this event.  Please reach out to Cmdr.
